Care recommendations

• Wash separately the first time. Wash with similar colours thereafter to preserve the vibrancy of the different fabrics.
• Fasten the buttons and turn the shirt inside out before washing to reduce friction on the embroidery, appliqués and lace.
• Use a cold or low-temperature delicate cycle. Avoid high temperatures to protect the cotton’s shape and the fabrics’ colours.
• Choose a low spin speed to help protect the lace, decorative details and raw hem.
• Avoid bleach and harsh stain removers. Treat stains gently rather than rubbing vigorously.
• Do not iron directly over embroidery, appliqués or lace. If needed, iron inside out on low heat; use a thin cloth between the iron and decorative areas.
• Do not cut or pull the raw, fringed hem: it is an intentional design detail. Take care not to pull the main fabric when dealing with loose threads.
• Air dry rather than tumble dry. Gently reshape after washing and dry on a hanger or laid out appropriately.
• Give the details room in storage. Avoid tightly packing the shirt, and protect lace and appliqués from zips, jewellery and sharp accessories.
